PAS currently run one service in the area of Penzance which houses and supports homeless vulnerable adults.  We also provide a further three services in the area that house and support vulnerable adults who have issues around alcohol and substance misuse.

Description: PAS Ltd work with Cornwall Council in order to provide accommodation, assessment and support for homeless people and assist them in dealing with issues related to their homelessness, and address the issues that led to their vulnerability. These issues might include substance misuse, offending, mental health problems, domestic or family break up and those fleeing violence. This 8-bed project will provide support and accommodation with a continental breakfast in a Bed and Breakfast type provision for individuals requiring assessment and support in preparing to move on to alternative accommodation.

Description: This project will provide 6 units of accommodation and around 6 hours of support per client per week. This support will be aimed at stabilising and engaging with individuals who have substance misuse problems and related behaviours. These are likely to include offending and anti social behaviours that impact on the community at large. This project will provide a solid foundation for engagement with services. It is envisaged that it will provide the transition from chaotic lifestyle to settled independent living. The support offered is visiting in nature and will consist of individual key working and organised house meetings. The support is aimed at maintaining current levels of need and developing skills to maximise independence and plan for a structured move to less supported housing.   Clients will have access to out of hours support and management for emergencies.

Description: This project will be the second stage of move-on for clients leaving stage one. The scheme is designed to consolidate and further improve life skills and ensure continued engagement with both their individual support plan and any external agencies that they may be involved with. The support offered is visiting in nature and will consist of individual key working and organised house meetings. The support is aimed at maintaining and improving levels of need. Support staff will work with the client to maximise independence and plan for a structured move to our stage three project. Clients will have access to out of hours support and management in event of emergencies.

Description: These projects are aimed at those clients who wish to maximise their independence with some access to visiting support and intervention from PAS staff. This provision is designed to be sustainable and forward thinking. The delivery of support work is directed towards continued compliance with support plan and finalising self-development towards independent living. Residents will be supported through managed house meetings and individual support but less regularly than at initial projects. They will have access to respite or crisis intervention if life crisis demands.
