housing

It takes more than having a house to make a home. Our aim is to help our clients settle into a safe, supported environment, supplying them with the skills necessary to maintain their own tenancy.

We currently house over 300 clients across the south, and have properties in Bournemouth, Poole, Restormel, Carrick, Kerrier and Penwith. Our accommodation ranges from high-level support with 24/7 cover, to low-level and move-on homes to cater for the various degrees of supportive needs. We also allow for deferred success with the arrangement of “flow-back” to more supported accommodation. This provides a safety net for clients and helps PAS achieve its goal to reduce homelessness and facilitate independent living.

We offer a multitude of services, many of which provide a safe, clean and dry environment. The security and wellbeing of our clients is paramount and necessary for their success, therefore it is our responsibility to maintain a drug and alcohol free environment. This increases our client’s chance to succeed at rehabilitating and reintegrating themselves into society.

To ensure our clean and dry houses remain so, we do not permit the use, supply or possession of illegal drugs on any premises PAS manages, including office sites, by staff, clients or visitors. We also do not permit the possession and consumption of alcohol in our dry accommodation. Clients who require drug and/or alcohol dependency support are immediately guided to the specific programs and support networks available within the area. Those clients suspected of relapse can be subjected to random drug tests and even removed from the property in order to protect our other clients and our staff.

Many of our properties provide additional security with the use of CCTV, to further protect our staff, our clients and their possessions.
