The Post Holder provides sleepover cover at properties for clients who may have substance misuse issues / probation issues. The aim is to enable our residents/clients to maximise their independence and maintain their tenancies. Support Worker
The Post Holder provides a support service for general housing need and /or clients with substance misuse issue, mental health issues and /or homeless. The aim is to enable our residents/clients to maximise their independence and maintain their tenancies. The Project has a staffed office and visiting support workers seven days a week to assist tenants with daily living tasks, and to co-ordinate care and support packages by liaising with a range of voluntary and statutory agencies.
Project Co-ordinator
The post holder is responsible for the administration and support work of a specified area and is accountable to the relevant manager of that area.
Provision of support services will relate to clients who are homeless and have issues related to their homelessness i.e. drug and alcohol issues, mental health and ex-offenders. The overall aim is to enable service users to maximise their independence, and to maintain their tenancies.
The holder has responsibility for leading specific teams, making the initial client acceptance assessment and for the allocation of the client to the appropriate support worker and is accountable for the development and delivery of the individual support plans.
The holder is responsible for maintaining of occupancy levels and will work with statutory bodies and voluntary organisations to create a favourable awareness of the individual support plans.
Manager
The post holder oversees and is accountable for the provision of support services over a specified area, for clients who have issues that are related to their homelessness, i.e. clients with substance misuse issues, mental health issues and ex-offenders.
The overall aim of this position is to enable service users to maximise their independence and to maintain their tenancies.
The post holder is responsible for the smooth running of a specified number of staffed offices from which visiting support / hostel workers operate seven days a week, to assist tenants with daily living tasks.
The holder will also facilitate the co-ordination of support packages by liaison with a range of voluntary and statutory agencies. In addition the holder will ensure that all properties in their area are maintained to specific set standards.
All of the above functions are to be carried out in accordance with company Policy and Procedures which the post holder must ensure are implemented, adhered to and managed appropriately at all times.
